Thomas Hayes was raised in Geneva, New York, in the heart of the Finger Lakes. He Graduated from Hartwick College with a B.S. degree in political science with Honors and moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1990 to attend Capital University Law School. He received his Juris Doctor from Capital University law School in 1993.
Thomas Hayes gained his courtroom experience working at the Franklin County Public Defenders Office as a Trial Attorney. In that position he was in court virtually every day arguing on behalf of his clients. He has represented thousands of clients in his career in all types of criminal proceedings.
Mr. Hayes is licensed to practice law in Ohio and the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Columbus Bar Association and The Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Attorney.
